Ethermon Partner with MetaZone to Bring Digital Pets to Decentraland!
The Ethermon Team are delighted to announce that we have partnered with MetaZone to bring digital pets to Decentraland!
The digital pets will be representative of Ethermons: Non Fungible Tokens, or NFTS, stored on the Ethereum blockchain. The first iteration of Ethermon within Decentraland will enable players and LAND owners to interact with Ethermon pets in several ways.
In the first instance, LAND owners will purchase an Ethermon Garden Bed Meta, in order to grow and sell vegetables to Ethermon owners. In turn, Ethermon owners will be able to visit LANDs which are hosting the Ethermon Garden Meta, in order to feed their pet, grow their bond and level up.
LAND owners can take advantage of this opportunity by grabbing one of the one hundred available Metas HERE. Fifteen Ethermon Garden Bed Metas have already been sold in pre-sale and with only 100 ever available, the rest are expected to be acquired quickly by LAND owners, since the price will rise with each ten Metas purchased. Players will be able to grab one of the currently supported Mons: Kyari and Cobrus, during the official launch of Ethermon arriving in Decentraland. The above Ethermon HUD will enable players to interact with the Ethermon they obtain.
In time, Ethermon owners will be able to interact with their Ethermon pets in new ways as new experiences are brought to Ethermon owners. Players and LAND owners can also look forward to more Mons being added to experiences in due course.
What is Ethermon?

DECENTRALAND is a decentralized virtual reality platform powered by the Ethereum blockchain. Within the Decentraland platform, users can create, experience, and monetize their content and applications.
